Dr. Gerald Derstine
Dr. Gerald Derstine is the founder of Strawberry Lake Christian Retreat in Minnesota, Christian Retreat in Bradenton Florida and North Country Christian Retreat here in New York. Bro. Gerald has been visiting each summer since it began in 1983.
His ministry in the past fifty years has impacted more than 50 nations of the world. Today, a vast ministry in Haiti, his first overseas mission, has more than 300 churches and thousands of believers, with overseer Bishop Joel Jeune. In the Philippine Islands, more than 300 churches have been established, with Claudio Cortez and wife, Hosanna and family. In the nation of Honduras, Daniel Isbel presides over a network of 200 churches. Great works exist on the islands of Trinidad, Jamaica and Cuba. More recently, major outreaches have been established in Israel, Romania, Ghana and various other countries around the world.
Dr. Derstine will be speaking at the North Country Christian Retreat July 26, 27, and 28 at this summer's meetings. As always, we look forward to the founder of the Retreat coming and sharing the wisdom of God with us!

Pastor Phil Derstine
Phil Derstine is the senior pastor of Christian Retreat Family Church in Bradenton, Florida, and the president of Gospel Crusade, Inc., a multi-faceted international ministry with hundreds of churches and Bible schools around the world.
With a heart for souls, Pastor Phil is best known for his teaching on evangelism, blending Biblical principles and the personal experience of sharing Christ in the marketplace. His weekly television program, Purpose for Life, is carried on Christian Television Network and available on the internet through Joy Star TV. Pastor Phil has a passion for activating people into the purpose and assignment of God for their lives. He has written several books, including Evangelism that Works, and Releasing the Power Within You, available on the Christian Retreat website.
A graduate of Oral Roberts University, Phil and his wife, Jannette, have served together in the ministry for the past 33 years. They have two daughters, Amy and Michelle, and two sons, Michael and Stevie.

At the early age of 9, Billy Burke met the Healing Jesus! Stricken with Terminal Brain Cancer and just days to live, through his grandmother, he was introduced to the ministry of Kathryn Kuhlman.
